Job Description

Home care worker – st helens & surrounding areas

essential: full uk driving licence & access to a vehicle
due to the nature of domiciliary care, you must hold a full uk driving licence and have regular access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.

as we grow, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and progress into senior and other development roles.

about the role
we are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate home care workers to support people in their own homes across st helens and surrounding areas.

you will support people with:
• personal care and mobility
• medication support
• meals, hydration and light household tasks
• companionship and emotional support
• supporting independence and daily routines
• appointments and social activities where required
• recording care and reporting changes in wellbeing
• following care plans, safeguarding procedures and company policies

what we're looking for
essential:
• full uk driving licence
• access to a reliable vehicle
• caring and compassionate approach
• good communication skills
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• right to work in the uk without sponsorship
• willingness to complete required training
previous care experience is desirable but not essential.

we provide full induction training, ongoing supervision and support to help you develop your skills and confidence.
where eligible, we can also support suitable employees to work towards recognised adult care qualifications through funded training and apprenticeship opportunities.
