Job Description

The role:
as a resource support officer, provide administrative support to the sedgemoor hub team, including the processing of referrals and the management of information relating to the day-to-day operation of the community hub, including admissions and discharges.

the resource support officer will act as the first point of contact for visitors, service users, and professionals, handling telephone enquiries, responding to routine queries, and undertaking reception duties in a professional and courteous manner.

in the role, the resource support officer will undertake and support the recording, processing, and reconciliation of invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.

escort visitors, contractors, and professionals to the appropriate areas within the building, ensuring compliance with security and acce

this role is fixed term due to a planned organisational restructure. as the future staffing requirements of the service are currently under consideration, there is no guarantee of continued employment beyond the end of the fixed-term period and will end 12 months from the start date.

please note that this position is based on working thursdays and fridays only. salary and any associated allowances, where applicable, will be paid on a pro rata basis.
