working with housing associations, local authorities and public sector organisations across the north west, we deliver repairs, refurbishments and planned improvement works that make homes safer, warmer and better places to live.

we're looking for an enthusiastic apprentice joiner who wants to learn a skilled trade, work alongside experienced professionals and build a long-term career in construction.
no experience is necessary. what matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn and pride in doing a good job.

what you'll learn
as part of your apprenticeship, you'll work towards the level 2 carpentry and joinery apprenticeship standard (site carpenter pathway) while gaining valuable on-the-job experience.
you'll learn how to:
• install and repair doors, frames and internal joinery.
• fit kitchens, worktops, skirting boards and architraves.
• carry out first and second fix carpentry.
• use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• read drawings and follow specifications.
• measure, mark out and prepare materials accurately.
• work safely in occupied homes and construction environments.
• understand building regulations, health and safety and quality standards.
• work as part of a professional team while delivering excellent customer service.
you'll attend college as part of your apprenticeship and receive support from experienced mentors throughout your training.

ideally you'll have gcses (or equivalent), including maths and english, although support may be available where required as part of the apprenticeship.
