Job Description

The role:
the private sector housing team is looking for a proactive and organised housing service support officer to join a fast-paced and highly varied service at the heart of housing regulation and enforcement. this is a key role supporting frontline housing activity, acting as the first point of contact for a wide range of enquiries, referrals and service requests, and helping to ensure the smooth and effective running of a busy operational team. you will play a vital part in triaging work, coordinating responses, managing information and supporting officers and managers to deliver positive outcomes for residents.

we are looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, can confidently juggle competing priorities and takes pride in working accurately, professionally and with initiative. you will need to be self-motivated, resilient and well organised, with strong administrative and customer service skills, and the ability to work within clear governance and processes. if you enjoy problem-solving, working collaboratively, and making a real contribution to housing standards and community wellbeing in liverpool, this is a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and committed team.
