Out Of Hours Homeless Advice & Prevention Officer

Job Description

The role:
as an out of hours advice and prevention officer, you will provide urgent homelessness assistance outside normal working hours. you will offer advice and guidance, assess immediate housing needs, and arrange emergency accommodation where required, ensuring all decisions are made in line with relevant legislation and statutory duties
the advice and prevention officer will be working closely with the out of hours assessment & prevention lead, partner agencies and liverpool's daytime housing solutions teams, you will help ensure seamless service delivery and continuity of support. the role involves safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families, managing complex situations, and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment

the role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based and home working to support service delivery and work-life balance. full training, ongoing development and comprehensive support will be provided
