we’re looking for a detail orientated, self-motivated transport administrator to join our distribution centre in speke, liverpool.
this is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a key operational area, which plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week.

what you’ll be doing
as a transport administrator, you will be supporting our transport team to ensure that deliveries to and from the warehouse are made on time, and correctly.

your key responsibilities will include:
coordination of transport bookings and support delivery scheduling with warehouses and third-party couriers.
maintain accurate system records of inbound shipments and inventory movements
support the preparation, gathering and checking of documentation required for customs clearance
assist with tracking shipments and resolving any discrepancies
provide admin support using excel
liaising with internal departments
what we’re looking for

we’re looking for someone who has strong administration skills. you should be able to complete sometimes complex documentation accurately, and in a timely manner. we are looking for a “can do” attitude and will provide full training to the successful candidate.

you’ll need to have:
a basic understanding of supply chain, logistics or administration processes is preferred, but not essential.
be able to use excel, or be willing to learn
have a strong attention to detail, particularly with documentation and system inputs
strong organisational skills
able to communicate with colleagues and external contacts of all seniority
