Job Description

The property and campus services department of the university is looking to recruit a quantity surveyor to the design group, on a 2-year fixed term contract.

the role is to provide professional quantity surveying services and cost / commercial management expertise on construction projects and works across the university’s diverse estate and campuses, which includes building refurbishment and improvement, major repairs/maintenance, mechanical and electrical alterations. you will work as quantity surveyor on minor/major capital projects and revenue works within the value band of circa £25k to £10m, to ensure that projects and works are delivered to the agreed programme, budget and quality, working to recognised standards. the role will report to the head of design group.

this is an exciting role for an individual who has a degree in quantity surveying with suitable experience in this specialist role.
