Job Description

The university of liverpool management school (ulms) will host the egos (european group for organisational studies) colloquium in july 2027, welcoming thousands of international delegates.

to ensure the successful planning and delivery of this major event, we are seeking an events administrator to provide administrative, logistical and operational support to assist in the planning and delivery of the event.

the postholder will report to the events officer aligned to the management school within the faculty of humanities & social sciences and will support the planning and delivery of the egos 2027 colloquium.

you will work closely with:

• the appointed professional conference organiser (pco)

• the egos executive secretariat

• ulms academic leads

• internal university services (corporate events, commercial services, estates & facilities, it, finance, and accommodation)

you will play a key role in ensuring clear communication, accurate information flow, and coordinated delivery across multiple partners.

this role is predominantly office hours, with occasional evening/weekend work approaching the event. toil applies.
