Job Description
m-ric is an ambitious programme if work jointly delivered between university of liverpool and mersey care nhs foundation trust (mcft). it will have wide reaching benefits to the region whilst raising the profile of all partners as leaders in mental health innovation.
we are seeking a clinical trials coordinator to support a portfolio of projects across several themes and work streams in mental health research.
you will:
- facilitate the efficient and timely set up of clinical trials, coordinating daily activities of the trial, helping to deliver them to time and budget
- ensure compliance with all local, national, and international regulatory requirements as appropriate
- collect, process, and manage patient data and medical records in accordance with regulations
- work closely with research investigators, sponsors, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of m-ric clinical trials
- report to m-ric clinical research programme manager and work closely with internal and external stakeholders across chil and mcft to support trial delivery across key thematic areas.
- act as a key member of the delivery team, operating with transparency and integrity, supporting inclusion and diversity in all aspects of m-ric, its work and its wide-reaching impacts.
you will:
- be highly organised and structured with the ability to create solutions to complex problems.
- have a thorough understanding and experience of set-up and delivery of clinical trials within an nhs and academic environment.
- have experience in research governance processes and requirements to setup and deliver research trials and studies in mental health
- work collaboratively and inclusively to build systems that work across boundaries.
- understand the need for openness and transparency in the field of health innovation.
- be driven by the desire to improve health outcomes.
- understand the need for a team science approach to impactful delivery.
