Job Description

The role:
the role of apprentice governance officer is a great opportunity to build skills in project support, performance reporting, data administration and working with different teams across the council.
in this role you will provide general administrative support to the project team, including arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and supporting clear communication across the project
in the role you will produce simple project updates and reports using standard templates
as an apprentice governance officer you will maintain project trackers, action logs, and records, ensuring they are kept up to date and highlighting any issues or actions that require senior team attention
you will support the organisation and delivery of workshops, training sessions, and engagement events
in this role you will work closely with the improvement delivery team to support new ideas, continuous improvement, and collaborative ways of working
this role is a fixed term for the purpose of completing the level 4 governance officer apprenticeship and will end 24 months after you start with us.
