Job Description

The role:
we’re looking for a thoughtful and well-organised health and wellbeing support officer to join our sport and recreation team at liverpool city council. this is a rewarding opportunity to support residents across the city by helping them access vital services such as gp exercise referral, falls prevention, and nhs health checks
you’ll be responsible for managing referrals, maintaining accurate records, and offering a calm, compassionate first point of contact for those seeking support. a key part of your role will involve triaging enquiries, often of a sensitive nature, with empathy and sound judgement, ensuring individuals are directed to the most appropriate services
this role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, has a keen eye for detail, and is confident working both independently and as part of a wider team
you’ll be working across lifestyles centres and community settings, helping to ensure a seamless experience for service users. if you’re passionate about improving community health and wellbeing and want to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of liverpool residents, we’d love to hear from you
