Job Description

The role:
the parking services team within liverpool city council’s neighbourhoods and housing directorate is growing and we are currently looking to recruit a principal parking enforcement officer to join us at this exciting time!

the principal parking enforcement officer role involves supporting the parking operations manager in the leadership and direction of enforcement services including setting clear objectives, allocating resources and creating an inspiring working environment to deliver customer focused services to the local community.
the post holder will also provide technical and managerial leadership and guidance to all civil enforcement staff, ensuring they are aware of health and safety regimes, and communicate with the public in line with liverpool city council policies and procedures.
candidates will be willing to undertake weekend shifts to work close with the front-line team during regular operations.
we are looking for candidates who have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience in a parking service supervisory or leadership role, and an awareness of legislation and statutory requirements relating to traffic management and parking.
