HEALTH AND SAFETY ADMINISTRATOR-
GRADE 5

£27,980 - £32,333 pa

We are recruiting a Grade 5 Health and Safety Administrator who will support a large volume of varied Health, Safety, Welfare and Regulatory Compliance activity across the Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Science (IVES).

You will be responsible for providing a wide range of support to two full time Safety and Regulatory Compliance Co-ordinators and whilst the role will be predominantly based at the Leahurst Campus in Cheshire, you will also be required to regularly travel to the main Liverpool Campus. You will have a varied role which will not only include maintaining safety records/documentation and developing systems to improve governance in general but you will also have a physical presence across the campuses supporting inspections and audits, gathering information, conducting basic checks/surveys and maintaining safety related equipment and supplies. This means that you must have a flexible approach and attitude to meet the ever-changing priorities within the safety and compliance world, and whilst you do not strictly require previous experience, qualifications or knowledge of safety and other related regulations, you must appreciate and understand the impact that such governance has on society and of course the University.

You must be an organised and methodical person who is able to record, arrange and relay a wide range of information through good communication, literacy and IT skills. Experience within a University or Safety orientated setting is desirable.

You will have 2 A-Levels at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
