- You will have an interest or experience in any of the following areas and will be provided with a relevant training programme: • Electrical Engineering (Particularly High Voltage) • Mechanical Engineering • Workshop (Machining or Fabrication) • Construction and Built Environment Tasks: The Liverpool John Moores University's Faculty of Engineering and Technology is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable trainees to join their team of technicians. You will be trained to provide effective technical support to the Technology and Engineering undergraduate programs. Essential Criteria: Minimum Grade C in 4 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths, Science and English. You will show a keen interest in the subject area, be confident and have good communication skills. Good attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team are also desirable qualities. You must be willing to participate in training and professional development programmes. Training: You will undertake a Level 3 Education Technician Apprenticeship via a local Training Provider. You will also complete any necessary industry-based training required for the role. CLOSING DATE: Sunday 19th June 2022
