The Faculty of Engineering & Technology seeks to appoint a Commercialisation Officer to the Eco-I North West project.

The Eco-I North West project is a business support project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The Commercialisation Officer will assist the Project Manager in identifying funding opportunities and developing commercial partnerships to support business growth and increase productivity for SMEs within the project.

You will also provide general administrative support for the administrative aspects of the project, and internal and external marketing and communication, facilitate meetings and workshops to promote the Project together with building strong networks with relevant external funding bodies.

Key to this role will be supporting support the Eco-I North West team to ensure rigorous compliance with ERDF contractual commitments, including business eligibility, State Aid position, development of an action plan and evidence record to justify a planned, meaningful business-university collaboration.

In addition, you will also be involved in raising the profile and promoting the activities of the project, supporting the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns and planning and attending key events, seminars and networking opportunities.
