Social Worker (Central Locality) Ref:3006301

The Role
Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit Social Workers to work in the Central Locality / Hospital Discharge Teams / Community Mental Health Team . We are keen to hear from you if you have a genuine interest in this rewarding, challenging and interesting area of work.

We require Social Workers who have a background in adult social work with a varied range of skills and experience.

Applicants will need to be -

Social Work England registered and have experience of working in generic social work
Able to complete Care Act Assessments, risk assessments and asset based support planning.
Proficient in completing Mental Capacity and Best Interest assessments.
Able to manage safeguarding referrals and carry out safeguarding investigations in line with national standards complying with the Care Act.
Knowledgeable regarding the Court of Protection process and preparing paperwork for submission
Experienced in managing a busy case load and be able to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The successful candidate will be part of a team reporting to a Team leader/Community Manager.
