The Role
Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit a Social Work Team Leader, Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Team (IDAT)

The Team Leader will work with a dynamic team of social workers to work exclusively with Adults with intellectual Disabilities and Autism. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of the Transforming care agenda, Positive Behavioural Support approaches and form close working relationships with partners in Mersey care

The Team Leader will work with other managers across the service to support the development of complex care pathways and enhance the skills and knowledge of Social Workers within the team. We particularly welcome applicants who are experienced in Adult Social Work Learning Disabilities and / or Mental Health.
