The Role

Liverpool City Council is looking for a Receptionist to be based at Hunts Cross Children Centre for 25 Hours per week. This will be worked over 5 days between the hours of 9.00-5pm and will be agreed with the service co-ordinator. You will be part of the wider team covering Hunts Cross Belle Vale and Mossley Hill and may be required occasionally to work or cover the Belle Vale site.

As the successful applicant you will be required to support and assist the Children Centre Service co-ordinator in establishing and ensuring the implementation of office procedures and systems of record keeping and filing. You will also be the first point of contact for the families and professionals that use the Children Centre and take responsibility for all contacts via email, mailboxes, face to face and phone calls and any follow up required.

As the receptionist you will also be required to undertake administrative tasks as required and use of the Children Centre databases.

The successful applicant will become part of a friendly and committed team who work hard to meet the needs of the families and communities we work in. As such the receptionist will be expected to contribute to their own personal development as well as that of the Children Centre. This will also include participation in PRD's and team meetings as well as training and development days.

Applicants please note, as this role is 25 hours per week the salary will be pro rata to reflect this.
