The Payroll & Pensions Service processes in excess of 200,000 transactions, totalling £520 million per year for a wide range of customers. We currently process 21 monthly payrolls, catering for 17,500 employees in total. We are the chosen Payroll & Pensions Provider for 155 out of the 160 schools in the Liverpool region and for 11 external customers. We offer self-service payroll and fully managed pensions services with the flexibility for customers to choose additional options related to their business needs.

We are looking to give a young person an opportunity to join the team in the wonderful Cunard Office (with opportunities for working from home) and learn the full range of payroll and pensions activities. Duties will include:

Responding to queries via the payroll and pensions mailbox and telephone calls
You will be trained and supported to enable you to view and make authorised changes in the Oracle Payroll System
Training in our pensions systems to allow you to effectively respond to queries and support data cleansing requirements
Training in the system processing of payrolls and subsequent payroll outputs and reconciliations
Undertake various aspects of payroll and pensions administration
