Support Worker Waking night
Location: Liverpool L5 area
Salary: £9.00 - £9.23 per hour depending on NVQ qualifications
Hours: Part time 24 hours per week (10pm - 8am)
Full clean driving licence required.

The Role
Working alone overnight, you will be there to provide emotional and physical support when needed to a male who has Autism and mobility issues. This could be emotional support during a crisis, to have a chat over a cup of tea, to help them out of bed or just be a friendly face to give reassurance. You will also the person and proerty is safe and secure.
• Support with routines such as dressing, washing, and cooking, whilst promoting independent living.
• Cleaning and tidying and carrying out checks on safety and risks.
• Administering medication as required.
• Ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the ladies’ rights to live safely and free from abuse or neglect.

The Person
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
• Warm, caring nature. Passionate and committed to making a positive difference in people’s lives is essential.
• Great communication skills.
• Good sense of humour.
• Patience and understanding
