Part of Liverpool City Council, Merseyside Sports Partnership (MSP) provide leadership and expertise, plus access to a network of partners and funding to create the conditions to enable people to be active every day.
The team are currently working to deliver the Active Practice Charter, to help promote physical activity to staff working for GP practices and their patients. Physical activity has a role to play in helping people manage and improve their health and wellbeing. The Active Practice Charter supports GP’s in raising the issue with patients, and means they have a range of local opportunities they can suggest to you to help residents be more active.
The job will involve working in an office in Garston with a team of 14. You will be using a computer and telephone whilst in the office and your role may also involve visiting partners outside of the office around Merseyside.


 Supporting the Business Improvement Officer (BIO) with the procurement of goods and services, including raising purchase orders on our financial system (SAP).
 Support the BIO, with the processing of invoices for payment submission.
 Support the BIO in preparing, maintaining, evidencing, and monitoring Grant Funding Compliance information relating to contracts and Partnership Agreements with third parties.
 Help ensure monthly budgets are reconciled with SAP and any queries raised with the BIO.
 Provide support to the BIO in preparation for MSP’s independent review and audit.
  Provide general administrative support such as answering the phone and document production/management for other team members when required.
 Use learning opportunities to develop personal skills necessary to improve effectiveness, efficiency and delivery of service.
