Base Energy started in 2008 based in Liverpool and works nationwide with consultants based across the country. We are experts in environmental assessment for domestic and commercial buildings. Our clients range from small developers to large blue chip companies and have a client based of over 3000 contacts. Our services range from building regulations SAP and SBEM calculations, EPC’s to planning reports such as Daylight studies, Flood risk, Surface Water, Energy and Sustainability reports, BREEAM assessments.


We are looking to expand our Liverpool office, and the role is for a technical consultant. We can offer flexibility within the working environment and would consider a combination of office/home based work patterns.

 

The role will involve: -

 

Building energy assessments using SAP and SBEM modelling tools for Part L building regulations. Must be qualified in SBEM Level 4 assessments. U-value calculations.  

 

Provide design advise and specify energy efficient low carbon measures.

 

Prepare energy and sustainability statements to support planning applications for new developments.

 

There will then potentially be opportunity for developing further skills in BREEAM and Daylight studies.

 

Experience in building energy modelling is essential.
