Core Administrator Ref:3005932


All staff receive an induction when starting with the Charity.  As part of this the Core Administrator will have a timetabled induction to observe all of our services and to meet with managers and staff from each service.  Monthly supervision, work plans and staff team meetings are also routine in the organisation.  As 70% of our staff team are Deaf the young person will gain experience of working in a Deaf environment and learn about the communication needs of d/Deaf and Deaf-blind people.

The young person will receive BSL training and Deaf Awareness Training as part of the role.  They will also have the opportunity to participate in other internal training such as Safeguarding, First Aid and Cyber Security.

We will improve the young person’s job prospects through ensuring they gain experience in a variety of different areas of the charity including; facilities management, corporate services, frontline reception, community/social activities and social care. Through supervision and personal development plans we will identify development opportunities.  We will ensure our young person has access to job opportunities that are circulated by our networks such as Merseyside’s 800 Group. 


Provide effective administration to all departments. 

Deal with general customer enquires in a timely manner.

Be responsible for processing, inputting and updating client records.

Collate data records and provide statistics.

Manage client correspondence and filing of Documents.

Assist with the covering of reception 

Liaise with organisations and businesses regarding room bookings  

Prepare paperwork, such as induction packs, letters and leaflets

Processing and distribution of incoming mail

Supporting Community Activities

Supporting facilities management of Queen’s Drive site

Ensure that all information is processed, communicated and stored to maintain effective levels of confidentiality at all times.

Ensure service knowledge and skill level are maintained to the highest standard by attending any relevant meetings and training sessions.
