General office administration and facilities management for a team of lawyers ranging from juniors at the start of their career to experienced solicitors – lots of opportunity for being part of a fun environment, surrounded by a lovely and supportive team, who would really value the input that an Operations and Office Assistant would bring.  The team would all be engaged in coaching and mentoring you to develop your professional career and teach you valuable skills of working in a professional workplace and what it really means to work as a team player in practice.

Assisting with managing supplier relationships – from service subscriptions that the business uses to suppliers such as our IT providers and our office’s building management team.  You would develop valuable skills of communicating well with external people and developing confidence in the workplace with a professional and empathetic style.

Taking initiative with ordering consumables and office stock – being given responsibility for creating a pleasant office environment by taking charge of replenishing office items and consumables and developing skills of taking charge of a project and adding your own ideas for how to improve such project.

Being involved in organising events – this may be for internal team events, external training, marketing the business or for recruitment.  We invest a lot of time in speaking to students studying for their degrees or legal qualifications and assistance with organising and facilitating that, including organising open days, would be part of the role.  You would develop top quality organisational and creative thinking skills and would be asked to give your input on how you think events would be best organised.
