Stakeholder engagement, linking with partners via the Youth Task Force to maintain an up to date directory of support available to young people plus a calendar of events/opportunities to support job searching and employability. 

 

Development of bespoke events e.g. virtual jobs fairs, kickstart events, live careers advice sessions etc bringing multiple partners together. 

 

Co-ordinating content and events, utilising Wordpress to update the interactive calendars and pages. 

Developing both new and existing materials for a virtual careers library – short video clips / case studies from large city region employers showcasing what it is like to work in that sector and publishing these on the website and in Physical Youth Sites, including Pilot Pages dedicated to careers in the NHS as part of our Health Education England partnership. 

 

Youth engagement – linking in with metro mayor’s youth task force/Youth Impact to gain feedback on both the physical and virtual hubs and to seek continuous improvement as part of regular ongoing user engagement. 

 

Maintaining the Youth Taskforce stakeholder distribution lists, providing bespoke updates, and delivering presentations on a monthly basis. 

 

Providing support to the Youth Taskforce Steering Group.

 

Supporting the Principal Officer and Senior Policy Support Officer Responsible for the Youth Taskforce with any required duties, including contributing to reports and feedback to local and national stakeholders. 

 

Engaging with Physical Youth Hub Site Leads and Contacts. 

 

Leading Social Media Content and engagement across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok. 

Joining up programme with other workstreams, including the Employment and Skills Board (ESB) and wider Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance and Skills & Apprenticeship Hub (SAH).
