The Role

Sedgemoor is vibrant, reablement hub. We are looking for energetic, experienced, people to join the team of Reablement Assistants.We need people who can provide hands on care with both daily living skills and individual exercise programs. We want to ensure service users reach their reablement potential and return home wherever possible. You should be able to follow individual care plans, risk assessments and ensure records are kept upto date. Good communication skills are a must! Moving and handling is part of daily tasks and relevant training to do this safely will be provided.
You must demonstrate an awareness of relevant CQS legislation and safeguarding. Both of which are of paramount importance to our service. Following guidance is crucial but you should also demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to person centred care.

You will have regular supervision and team meetings and benefit from Liverpool City Council terms and conditions including being part of local government pension.
We are currently looking for 1 x 25 Hour night Reablement Assistant. All positions at LCC are city wide but this post will be based at Granby Hub.
The role will require you to be part of a team of staff working, flexibly over 7 days. Hours are 10pm to 8am on a two weeks rota of shift patterns. Allowances will be paid where appropriate. You will also be required to attend staff training sessions as arranged by the Line Manager and in conjunction with personal development, you will be given notice of any changes that may fall outside of your working shift pattern.
Following the UK leaving the EU, the new skilled worker visa points system has been designed for EU and non-EU residents to ensure only workers who can build enough points for a visa to be issued can work in the UK.
