The Pharmacy Department at Aintree University Hospital are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and personable Pharmacy Support Workers to join the Pharmacy Team.
You will be rotating in the Dispensary, Stores and Aseptic Department to provide a service at ward level, topping up ward stock and to dispense prescriptions to Outpatient and Inpatient areas.
You must be willing to work towards achieving specific units of an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services which is required for the post.
You will need to possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivated and willing to develop with new ways of working. Attention to detail is important and you must be able to work as part of a team but also able to demonstrate initiative and work in a professional and timely manner. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and have a flexible approach. Computer literacy is required although appropriate training on Pharmacy Systems will be provided.
