We have an immediate opening for a full time experienced payroll processor to operate our in house payroll bureaux and carry out office administration.


 


A busy accounting firm in Liverpool City centre is looking for an experienced payroll administrator to run our payroll bureaux using Sage software for numerous payrolls employing 1 to 50 employees.   




DUTIES OF THE POST


The successful candidate will have knowledge of processing CIS payments and submitting returns, company pension submissions,  and reconciling PAYE with HMRC records.




SKILLS AND QUALITIES


The successful candidate will be reliable, able to work on their own initiative, a good team member with a strong work ethic, a good communicator when dealing with clients.


The balance of work will include general office administration and assisting staff in preparing accounts for clients which requires a good knowledge of bookkeeping and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VAT returns.




HOURS


The role is full time 9am to 5.30pm where payroll processing will account for approximately 50 % of the role throughout the month.


 


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA


You MUST have a minimum of 1 years' PAYROLL experience and bookeeping, which is essential for this position.


You MUST also have ADMINISTRATION experience




Both essential criteria must be demonstrated on your CV.
