- THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL HEALTH AND LIFE SCIENCES (HLS) INSTITUTE OF SYSTEMS, MOLECULAR & INTEGRATIVE BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY, CELL AND SYSTEMS BIOLOGY RESEARCH TECHNICIAN GRADE 6 £32,333 - £37,100 pa We are seeking a talented, organised and highly motivated research technician to join the Perinatal Pharmacology Group on a Wellcome Trust funded translational research programme. The overarching aim is to develop an integrated, physiologically based, multiscale platform to humanise preclinical assessment of fetal drug exposure and toxicity during pregnancy. You will be involved in the establishment of a library of iPSC- and primary tissue-derived cells for organ-on-chip modelling applications. You will work within a cross-disciplinary team of scientists, including pharmacologist, stem cell biologist, tissue engineer and mathematical modeller. You should have a degree (or equivalent) in Biological or Biomedical Science, with relevant laboratory experience.
