2 Multi Skilled Apprentices for Willmott Dixon

1 Apprentice Plasterer for Cull dry Lining

6 young people from the Youth Employment Gateway who attend our construction route way programme are now in employment. The route way is designed to give young people the opportunity to gain training a CSCS card and work experience on a construction site in Liverpool.

Director of Active Flooring  Ed Greenhough  “The standard of young people from Liverpool in Work was excellent so much so we originally only wanted 2 apprentices but ended up taking 3, we will work with them again.”

Mike Lane Operations Director Wilmot Dixon “We interviewed 9 young people from Liverpool in Work, it was an extremely difficult decision to only take on 2 apprentices.  We were so impressed with the candidates we actually recommended a third candidate to one of our sub-contractors. The young man went for a work trail and was taken on as an apprentice plaster.”

Ryan “It’s a BIG thanks to Liverpool in Work for getting me the chance to interview for this opportunity. I’m learning so much this is the start of my career.”

Scott “ I never dreamed I would get a chance like this can’t thank Liverpool in work enough they have supported me with transport and given me the opportunity to get my foot on the ladder”
